Well, this is my limit so far..
To this one I decided to set both Cassiopeia and Giraffe constellations, each one with the same axle rotation.

I hope you like it.

Full view, please.

Beautiful work. I adore the limited pallette and the blending of colours, such as in the bottom right corner, which gives an almost aurora like effect. ^^

Can I ask, the small upper (moon?) has light all the way around it, like atmosphere or just the light of the sun behind it, but the other one and the planet doesn't have this, why is this? (I'm trying to get more realistic lighting and shadows in my own work, and love celestial art, cannot for the life of me make anything much well myself, so any pointers are always good :))

Hi! First of all, thanks for such a good comment :)
I'm not an expert in this kind of art, but if there's something I can help with, it will be a pleasure.
Now, about your question.. I really wanna answer it but first I must have sure on which planet are you talking about. Is it the little one right next to the sun or the blue one orbiting the red giant one? Because both of them have light around while the two others don’t.
Answer me and I’ll be glad to help you :)

It was the blue one orbiting that I meant, thank you ^_^

Ok, the light around the blue planet is caused by the light reflection on the red one. The big red and the small at the bottom have nothing beyond it to give them light, so, the only light they receive is from the sun, above.
Thing in our moon, it has no light, but it can reflect enough light to turn night on earth a little less dark.. right? In “Heaven’s Surrounding” the same rule is applied, the red planet has a big part of it exposed to the sun, so, part of that light is reflected and it turns noticeable on the blue planet, that, with or without atmosphere, turns bright, creating a corona all around it due to its small size.
